I actually love carob (unlike everyone else I know who thinks its fake chocolate) because my mom would take me to this little vegetarian hippie place for frozen carob yogurt when I was little without my brother after my tumbling class. I was in college when the intoxication of car free life took hold of me. Since the death-related verb there would otherwise be "killing" it avoids confusion, and if I know your color skills, you were most definitely not killing that wool!

Not really comparable to the X10. It misses the one feature that puts the X10 in a totally different level, not saying better or worse, depends on the needs of the photographer: manual zoom around the lens (X10) vs power zoom with rocker switch around the shutter button (Nikon). For me this option by Nikon is a deal breaker, Fuji is a much better camera for my needs and likes. But if the target is Canon GX series… fine.

I think the “two dimensional” comment is fine; and not meant as a negative, just a description. That sheep on the cover has less visual depth than, say, the sheep in Nancy Shaw’s “Sheep in A Jeep” (the only other sheep book I have handy). That flatness gives the illustrations a playful quality and focuses our eyes more on the shape of the figures, all of which works very well in your books. There may have been a better descriptive word or phrase to use, but when I read “two dimensional” I don’t think “bad” at all.

I was in college when the intoxication of car free life took hold of me. I would suddenly realize how many miles I had covered that day, just in the course of normal activities and feel amazing energy. It wasn't some revolutionary political statement or grim resolve. It just felt really great. If I biked I had a certain set of challenges to meet, but if I had driven I would have to meet the challenges of traffic and parking, fuel and upkeep. Everything has its price and provides its rewards.

Not really comparable to the X10. It misses the one feature that puts the X10 in a totally different level, not saying better or worse, depends on the needs of the photographer: manual zoom around the lens (X10) vs power zoom with rocker switch around the shutter button (Nikon). For me this option by Nikon is a deal breaker, Fuji is a much better camera for my needs and likes. But if the target is Canon GX series… fine.

I think the “two dimensional” comment is fine; and not meant as a negative, just a description. That sheep on the cover has less visual depth than, say, the sheep in Nancy Shaw’s “Sheep in A Jeep” (the only other sheep book I have handy). That flatness gives the illustrations a playful quality and focuses our eyes more on the shape of the figures, all of which works very well in your books. There may have been a better descriptive word or phrase to use, but when I read “two dimensional” I don’t think “bad” at all.
